Dr. John Coles obtained his B.Sc. Hons (1969) and Ph.D. (1974) in Physics from the Universities of London and Cambridge, respectively. He has served with the Professors World Peace Academy (PWPA), where his articles and co-edited books include Australia and the Global Environmental Crisis (PWPA Australia, 1992). He currently lives in Brisbane.
