Dr. Thomas J. Ward is President of the Unification Theological Seminary and Professor of Peace and Development. Recipient of a Fulbright Scholarship and selected as a Visiting Research Fellow at Academia Sinica’s Institute of Modern History in Taipei, Ward’s writings and commentary have appeared in E-International Relations, East Asia Quarterly, Journal of Asia-Pacific Studies, Journal of Global Development and Peace, and Washington Times, among other publications. Ward has been a guest lecturer in numerous institutions including the University of New Delhi, the University of Mumbai, the Academy of Social Sciences in Beijing, the University of Lima, and De La Salle University (Manila). Ward was named Distinguished Dean Emeritus in 2019 after eighteen years as Dean of the University of Bridgeport's College of Public and International Affairs.
