Thomas J. Ward is President of Unification Theological Seminary, where he is Professor of Peace and Development. He was the plaintiff in Ward v. Connor, a case in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia whose landmark decision in favor of religious rights was upheld by the United States Supreme Court in 1982.
